John T., Internet Technology
John is responsible for technology direction, solution planning and project management for the A2 Team. He has direct experience using proven technologies to both protect and empower corporate information assets, creating dynamic solutions unique to each business case.
John has over two decades of computer experience, and he has designed and administered high-availability and fault-tolerant e-commerce systems for such organizations as General Motors, Delphi Automotive, Ingram Micro, Cingular, Nextel, and DaimlerChrysler. He has coauthored two books: The Apache Tomcat Security Handbook, and The Definitive Guide to Linux Network Programming. He holds a bachelor degree in information systems and is active in the open source community. John's industry interests include vintage hardware, open source, mobile computing, and wireless networking.
Dr. T.K. Tan , Business Intelligence Technology
Tan is our expert on Artificial Intelligence Systems, having more than 15 years of experience in IT, engineering and management. He attended college at the age of 14. His degrees are BS Physics, BS Mathematics, BS Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude), MSE Mechanical Engineering and Ph.D. Electrical Engineering.
His projects include a Supply Chain Management system called Short Cycle Forecasting System (SCFS) for Wal*Mart; Promotional Demand Forecast System for Sears; Customer Relationship Management System and Optimum Product Mix of each store for Service Merchandise. He has consulted for organizations such as Ford, Daimler-Chrysler, Siemens, Oakland University and the University of Michigan.
Simon T., Internet Security
Simon is our Internet security expert. He has worked for Verisign, the premier Internet security company now worth a market cap in the billions of dollars. He was among the lucky few who joined Verisign early on. Now, retired and in his thirties, Simon spends some of his time helping the A2 Team. His presence insures the A2 Team will offer the best security and encryption solutions possible.
Dr. G.B. Cross, Writer
Born in England, G.B. has more than thirty-five years' experience teaching
creative and technical writing as well as advanced literature courses. He
holds the prestigious Barnard Hewitt Award for "outstanding contribution to
theatre history" and has published seven adult and children's novels.
As director of the Adelphi Theatre Calendar Project, he pioneered the use of computer technology in his research by constructing the Web's most comprehensive theatrical database. He writes and edits our promotional material and white papers.
Susana P., Graphic Design
Susana brings fifteen years of international experience in design and advertising to the A2 Team. She has a bachelor's degree in graphic design and a master's degree in poster design and book illustration.
She worked for five years as art director at the Design Group of Madison, Wisconsin, and for four more years in the same position at the Laurer Markin Group. She has won numerous prizes and honors, including four "Addy" awards for excellence in advertising. Susana provides the A2 Team with both outstanding design skills, and a unique sensitivity towards the complexities of the global marketplace. Her projects include medium to large-size international firms such as Pilkington Glass, ASC Incorporated, Oldcastle.
